Executive Motors proudly introduces the renowned Chevrolet brand in an exciting development for Seychelles' automotive landscape. Chevrolet, affectionately known as "Chevy," has been a global automotive leader and witnessed remarkable growth, selling 4.3 million vehicles worldwide in 2006.

The brand's popularity extends across neighbouring nations such as Mauritius, South Africa, Singapore, India, and the United Arab Emirates.

Unveiling Chevrolet in Seychelles

The launch of Chevrolet in Seychelles unfolds this week with a captivating series of media adverts, and an impressive lineup of models showcased at the main Executive Motors offices in the VCS Building at Le Chantier. General Manager Mr. Gilbert Lebon shares insights into the overwhelming interest the brand has already garnered, having sold most of the consignment that recently arrived.

Diverse Model Portfolio

Mr. Lebon emphasises Executive Motors' commitment to providing Seychellois consumers with diverse choices, ranging from small fuel-efficient hatchbacks to luxurious SUVs and top-tier pickup trucks. Chevrolet, he asserts, embodies quality and affordability.

Affordable Options for Seychellois Consumers

Highlighting the affordability aspect, Mr. Lebon showcases the entry-level Aveo 1.2-litre hatchback with ABS, alloy wheels, and fog lights, retailing from only SR138,000. The Aveo 1.5-litre sub-compact sedan, suitable for families, offers power and options like alloy wheels, all priced under SR220,000, including tax and GST.

Other models include the Chevrolet Optra, which is available in sedan, hatchback, and station wagon versions. With solid engineering, a lively dual overhead cam engine, and four-wheel disc brakes, the Optra, priced affordably, caters to both private and commercial use.

The flagship, Chevrolet Captiva, is an SUV with contemporary styling, power, and a flexible interior. It stands out as an economical passenger and family SUV, accommodating up to seven people comfortably. The top model boasts a sunroof, luxurious leather interior, and a choice of petrol engines (2.4-litre or 3.2-litre) or a more economical diesel version with a powerful 2.0-litre engine.

Future Prospects: Pickup Trucks and Beyond

While the much-anticipated Chevrolet pickup trucks are generating considerable interest, Mr Lebon reveals that due to high demand from Asia and the Middle East, the African and Indian Ocean region will soon be able to place factory orders. Executive Motors assures the public of timely updates on this exciting addition to the Chevrolet lineup.

Advanced Service and Maintenance

Ensuring a seamless ownership experience, Mr Lebon emphasises that Chevrolet vehicle servicing utilises specialised diagnostic software, with technicians trained through overseas service courses. This underscores Executive Motors' commitment to providing top-notch after-sales service.

Proud Association with Chevrolet

Chairman Marc Houareau expresses pride in Executive Motors' association with Chevrolet, an American icon and part of the General Motors family. He invites everyone to witness these exceptional vehicles' displays and experience test drives. In conclusion, today marks the final day for the public to view the Chevrolet models on display, heralding a new era of driving excellence in Seychelles.
